The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a press conference with journalists this Friday, where he focused on Prime Minister Rama’s speech at the Davos World Economic Forum.

Berisha said that he condemns with the greatest severity the defense that, according to him, Prime Minister Edi Rama gave to Russian President Vladimir Putin at the economic forum.

“Finally, I condemn with the greatest severity the defense that Edi Rama gave to little Putin in Davos. The European Parliament, Western public opinion is revolted by the attitudes of Edi Rama’s boss towards Russian sanctions. Of course, two questions accompanied Rama’s boss in every panel and hall in Davos: Is Putin a war criminal and why does Serbia not respect the sanctions imposed by the EU? Vucic proved that he is a little Putin.

Despite the barbarities he has committed in Ukraine, he refused to admit that Putin has committed war crimes and is a criminal. As if he justified himself for the sanctions. But more shameful is the defense that Edi Rama gave to his boss. What did Edi Rama say on the panel? As far as I understand the world, aren’t they replacing the dirty Russian source with sources from clean vibrating democracies?

The meaning of this is that blocking Russian gas from Europe is a mistake, that it was replaced by gas from other countries. First, trade is trade, and a country at war, which kills, normally isolates itself”, said Berisha.
