The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, responded to the statement of the previous day by the American embassy that “the position of the USA will continue to be the same regarding the persons determined to be involved in major corruption”.

In a statement to the media outside the assembly, Berisha said that he does not deal with the past, referring here to the outgoing administration of Joe Biden.

“I am not here to discuss the past. November 5 answered these. This is an administration that has lost. I’m not here to waste time on the past. You should ask me about the future.

You asked me about the incoming administration, about the outgoing administration, I don’t believe there is anything left that I haven’t said before you. I don’t want to comment now, let’s say, what to say, it was written by Kimi’s hand, he even changed it a little. I cannot comment on the administration that left,” said Berisha.
