The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has called on members of parliament to refuse to vote on the draft bill on fiscal amnesty.

In a statement to the press from DP’s headquarters, Berisha declared that the ‘fiscal’ ministry would be dangerous for the country and that it would only serve the mafia clan of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

“Any MP who agrees to vote for such a criminal endeavor directly or indirectly becomes a member of one of the most criminal organizations that Europe has ever witnessed. Therefore, my call for you is this: for every parliamentarian, to reject with contempt and disgust, as it is extremely dangerous for the safety of the country, for the future of Albania, this famous fiscal amnesty project led by Edi Rama and his mafia clan”, declared the head of Democrats.

Yesterday, at the annual meeting of the Diaspora Coordinating Council, Prime Minister Edi Rama said that the fiscal amnesty should have been done earlier, as it guarantees the formalization of Albanian immigrants’ income.
