The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, delivered the first speech after the decision of the GJKKO(Special Court Against Corruption and Organised Crime) to release him from the “House Arrest” security measure.

Surrounded by many sympathizers at the Democratic Party headquarters, Berisha said that today is a good day, not only for opposition sympathizers, but for all Albanians, including his opponents.

The head of the Democratic Party emphasized that the fraud pyramid for the annihilation of the opposition received the fatal blow this Wednesday. He added that now his and the Albanian opposition’s headline will not be speeches, but action.

“The fraud pyramid received the most fatal blow today. Today, Albania was illuminated by the first rays of the return of democracy. Today is the day when the monsters of democracy, Edi Rama and George Soros, finally failed. They failed in their attempt to destroy the Albanian opposition. The sacrifice of 330 days, the effort of 3 years was rewarded. We stood and only stood for the truth and the values ​​we believe in, after a time when Albania was plunged into darkness. Today is a good day for Albanians and the opposition, it is a day of hope. Today is a good day for those who are not in the opposition and for the opponents of the opposition. Sali Berisha did not win today, but the truth, the law and the Constitution.
