Hydrometeorological authorities announce that during the period 17–23 November, heavy rainfall is expected in the Drin River basin, with peaks on 18–19 and 22 November. The strongest developments are expected mainly in the Theth–Valbonë and Shkodër–Pukë areas.

According to the data, the expected rainfall may reach:

Fierzë: 150–200 mm

Koman–Vau i Dejës: up to 300 mm

KESH informs that it is monitoring the situation in real time and that the operation of the cascade is being carried out within the technical conditions and water level limits allowed by current regulations.

Authorities warn residents of surrounding areas to exercise increased caution during these days of intense rainfall.
