The 26th Book Fair opened its doors this Wednesday at the Palace of Congresses in the capital.

His first visitors were pupils and students. For 5 days in a row, readers will have the opportunity to visit the biggest event dedicated to literature.

“This is an activity that represents the best of Albanian culture, this is not only a cultural activity, here you can find readers, authors of literature, here we have them all. The year 2023 was a year that stands out from the others, as Albania was invited to the Turin Book Fair for the first time”, says Petrit Ymeri, president of the publishers’ association.

Books of different genres have taken place at 100 stands of publishing houses from Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia and Montenegro, waiting for readers of all ages. But this fair will offer more than that. Many guests, translators, local and foreign authors will be part of it to tell about the works they represent.

The doors of the fair will be open until November 19, thus offering loyal and young readers hundreds of book titles by Albanian and foreign authors, with prices reduced from 10 to 30%.
