The EU High Representative for Foreign Policy after the meeting with Albin Kurti and Aleksander Vucic declared that the parties did not agree on a solution today.
“We gave a proposal to avoid tensions, which Vucic accepted, but Prime Minister Kurti happens to not accept. I expected Kosovo to suspend the fines related to the re-registration of license plates and Serbia to suspend the issuance of KM license plates.
This was the proposal, which was not accepted”, said Borrell.
He further said that the “rule of law” cannot serve as a pretext for escalating the situation.
“This happened three months after the meeting of the dates. From crisis to relationship. And here it is worse than in August”, said the representative of the EU.
