Head of the foreign policy of the European Union, Josep Borrell, said that the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, did not accept the EU’s proposal for the implementation of the Agreement for the normalization of relations with Serbia.

Borrell met Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, on Thursday in a new round of talks.

“Today, with Prime Minister Kurti and President Vučić, I tried to find a solution for a way forward, based on our proposal. Unfortunately, after a long meeting, Prime Minister Kurti was not ready to move forward in starting a credible process for the establishment of the Association [of municipalities with a Serbian majority in Kosovo],” said Borrell.
