The Foreign Minister of Kosovo, Donika Gërvalla, declares that Kosovo has fulfilled all the requirements of the European Union for de-escalation of the situation in the north.

She has said that the EU’s measures against Kosovo should be removed, but she is not very optimistic because of the EU’s positions.

“I hope that they finally take the right step before these institutions are replaced by others that emerge from the vote that we expect soon. However, with what we have seen so far, how the unfair treatment of Kosovo has been in relation to Serbia’s violations in the processes, it is not that I have great expectations… Borrell’s attitude in general towards the topics between Kosovo and Serbia has been unprincipled, and it is not that I have high expectations for the last steps that can and should be taken. Those measures were the subject of a negotiation between the Deputy Prime Minister, Besnik Bislimi and the emissary Miroslav Lajcak in Bratislava… Not only have the five points for which they were understood fulfilled, but they have been fulfilled many times over, that’s why I don’t know what to say”, told Gërvalla for “KosovaPress”.
