Sarajevo and its surrounding areas were struck on Monday morning by an earthquake measuring around 4 on the Richter scale, according to data from the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center and the Federal Institute of Hydrometeorology.

The 3.9 magnitude earthquake was recorded around 09:22 near Sarajevo.

The depth of the earthquake was six kilometers.

Residents of Sarajevo have reported feeling the earthquake strongly, which lasted several seconds.

So far, no material damage has been reported.
