On Monday, the next Brdo–Brijuni Process summit at the level of presidents will be held in Durrës, Albania, focusing on the European perspective of the Western Balkan countries.

The leaders of the Western Balkans will convene in Durrës as part of the Brdo–Brijuni Initiative, with the main topic of discussion expected to center on the region’s path toward European Union integration.

This year’s meeting, held at the presidential level, will take place under the motto:

“Common Interests, Common Commitment for a Common Future: Together Towards the EU.”

Participants will also address ways to strengthen regional cooperation and the implementation of the EU’s economic growth plan for the Western Balkans.

The Brdo–Brijuni Process is a joint Slovenian-Croatian initiative launched in 2013, bringing together Kosovo, Albania, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia as members.
