The show “Broken Woman” by the activist Simone de Beauvoir, has started its journey through Albania.
Directed by Endri Çela and interpreted by Adriana Tolka, the audience is put to the test with mise-en-scenes and extreme actions, which are faithful to the author.
The loneliness, the emptiness, the tangled life of Muriel’s drama, like “The Broken Woman” is the first impact that is transmitted visually.
The show brings strong emotions while inside it there are many people who find themselves, these emotions are conveyed to the audience of Pogradec
The director, with the help of Beqo Nanaj’s scenography and Sofi Karaj’s costume design, captures through mise-en-scenes the rebellion, the pain, the complexity of a woman, with an ordeal of suffering, symbolically touching even death in the recesses of the tragedy.
The show, which has the support of the French Embassy from Pogradec, will travel to Saranda.
