Cultural tourism is gaining special importance every year.

In Mallakastër, in the Bylis Archaeological Park, there have been no shortage of tourist visits throughout this season. However, it still needs a lot of work to get the attention it deserves.

The main reason is the lack of road infrastructure. According to the residents of the area, not only the archaeological park but also the province has been completely neglected by the institutions.

Meanwhile, for foreign tourists, Albania is a beautiful country, but it needs a more functional infrastructure.

Bylis Archaeological Park is one of the unique sites in Albania, where it stands out especially for the high density of mosaic monuments.

It is one of the precious stones of Albanian archeology that has the interest of many local and foreign tourists, so the improvement of the infrastructure, which has been a problem for many years, is a must.

The works being carried out on the road that connects the Levan-Tepelene highway with the ancient city are expected to give a further boost to the development of tourism to turn it into one of the most favorite tourist destinations for cultural and archaeological tourism.
