This Thursday, November 28, Tirana is dressed in red and black colors to celebrate the 112th anniversary of Independence Day.

On the “Martyrs of the Nation” Boulevard, the Parade of Albanians was held, where a large number of participants dressed in traditional clothing from different regions, paraded down the main boulevard of Tirana.

The parade ended around 14:00 in “Skanderbeg” square. Its opening was made by some actors dressed as Ismail Qemali and the signatories of independence.

The national flags were placed along the “National Martyrs” Boulevard, where the main institutions of the country were also “dressed” in red and black colors.

While two balloons with the flags of Albania and Kosovo flew in the sky, a large number of citizens settled on both sides of the boulevard and participated in the Independence Day celebrations.

The parade of Albanians is held for the second year in a row in the capital with an activity that promotes clothing and features from all Albanian regions.
