7,985 vehicles were registered for the first time in Albania during the month of July, thus breaking the record in the last 5 years.

According to data published by the general directorate of road transport, the number of registered vehicles is 14.4% more.

The number of cars bought by Albanians is constantly increasing.

42,238 vehicles were registered for the first time in the period January-July 2023, this figure is 50% more than the same period of 2019!

Most of the cars entering Albania come from Italy, Germany and Switzerland. In the recent years, there has been an increase in the number of vehicles purchased in South Korea.

What is noticed is that Albanians are always liking the latest generation tools more and more.

6,381 such were registered in 6 months, respectively 42% more than January-July 2021.

Likewise, the registration of EURO 5 cars and above has increased by 83% compared to January-July 2021, increasing the registrations of eco-friendly and less polluting cars.

3,376 vehicles with an average age of 22 years have been completely deregistered from the system.
