A special exhibition has been opened in Korça by the Catholic Church. This exhibition presents photos of the first mass, as well as rare photos of Mother Teresa.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the restoration of faith in Albania, the Catholic church of Korça opened an exhibition showing the journey of this church in the southeast of the country.

In this exhibition, in addition to the photos of the first mass on August 15, 1953, Mother Teresa’s visits to Korça are reflected, as well as the services that the Catholic Church and the mission of Mother Teresa’s sisters have done for the Catholic community and not only, with numerous aids humanitarian but also various activities.

The Catholic Church in Korça this year also celebrates the 99th anniversary of the Catholic mass given in this city, which in those years served Italian workers who worked in the construction of the Market of Korça and many buildings with Italian architecture on the “Republika” boulevard of this city.
