Today, the Central Electoral Commission started its assessment of the political parties’ appeals of the April 25^th elections. Yesterday, DP submitted 10 casefiles to CEC, containing over 2 000 pages in materials, which according to the Democrats prove that the April 25^th elections were manipulated.

DP demands pronouncing the electoral process invalid in 9 counties around the country. The only counties where the democrats have no claims for are Kukes, Lezha and Dibra.

Yesterday as well, the Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) has appealed the results of the county of Durres, whereas earlier they also opposed the electoral results in the counties of Berat and Gjirokastra and they have also asked to ordain the elections invalid and repeat them.
