The Central Election Commission announced that the election process in the four municipalities in the north of Kosovo has been completed.
In these elections, 1,567 citizens voted or 3.47 percent of the voting body.
They voted to choose four new mayors in North Mitrovica, Zveçan, Leposaviq and Zubin Potok and two new composition of municipal assemblies in Leposaviq and Zveçan.
The head of the CEC, Kreshnik Radoniqi, said that the process has developed without any problems and that the first preliminary results are expected to be published on its website after 20:00.
This is the turnout in the elections, according to the municipalities:
Leposavic: 141 voters or 1.06 percent
Zubin Potok: 385 voters or 5.78 percent
Zvecan: 204 voters or 2.92 percent
North Mitrovica: 837 voters or 4.62 percent
