Voters from outside Albania will be able to register to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections by bringing any document that links them to the address where they will receive the ballot.

At the meeting of the Regulatory Commission at the Central Election Commission, it was decided to ease the procedures, removing the restrictions on home ownership or a regular rental contract.

To vote from abroad, migrants will have to upload online to the platform that will be built by the Central Election Commission a document to prove the residential address where the envelope with the ballot will be sent.
