Neritan Licaj has considered as a farce the ceremony that was held today in Tirana, where the construction of the National Theater is expected to start.

He claimed that the theater will not actually be built.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, he said that the Constitutional Court has said that the VKM for the Theater is unconstitutional and that the property should be returned to its rightful owner.

“Everything today was a farce because nothing will actually be built. The Constitutional Court has spoken, and it said that the VKM was unconstitutional and that the property should be returned to the owner. They don’t even ask about the Constitutional Court, nor that there are three lawsuits in SPAK. We are dealing with serious criminal offenses by fallen state figures. The Alliance then made this request to the Prime Minister, that the Constitutional Court be created and that it decides in the end,” he claimed.
