The Foreign Ministry announced that in agreement and cooperation with the State Department, now Albanian citizens can travel to the USA even if their passport expires in the last 6 months before the trip.

“At the same time, Albanian citizens returning from the USA to Albania can travel even if their passport has expired.

The decision was agreed today, during the meeting that the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEPJ) held in Tirana with a high representative of the State Department, the decision which puts Albania in the so-called “Group of the 6-month Club”, it is reported in notification of MEPJ.
