Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced the funds allocated for civil protection through a post on Facebook, stating that the funds aim to increase safety in the face of natural disasters.
Rama said that 500 million lekë from the allocated funds will be used to compensate affected citizens, while another 500 million lekë will be dedicated to investments. An additional 1.5 billion lekë will be allocated to financing projects aimed at preventing natural disasters.
“The funds allocated for civil protection aim to enhance safety in the face of natural disasters, guarantee compensation for affected citizens, and strengthen preventive measures to reduce risks in the future.

- 1 billion lekë in the form of conditional transfers
