The 10th edition of the comedy festival has started in Korça. This year, theater troupes from Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia took to the stage.

For the tenth year in a row, the nationwide comedy festival is organized in Korça.

Also this year, the theater troupes of Tirana, Korça, Durrës, Gjakova, Prizren and Skopje have become part of this festival.

For the director of the art and culture center Zamira Kita, organizing a festival like this, for so many years, has not been easy at all, but thanks to the kindness of the institutions, they have managed not only to keep the all-Albanian comedy on stage, but to bring it to this festival and the greatest authors of world Comedy

What is equally important is the fact that icons of Albanian theater and film have become part of this festival every year.

Even for the well-known actors of the Albanian stage and film, Timo Flloko and Eva Alikaj, this festival honors Comedy and Albanian humor, but for the well-known actress in recent years, humor seems to have lost the actors, the creators and the attention.

KokoFest opened the first night last night with Shakespeare’s comedy “Twelfth Night” directed by Dimitris Milonas, a comedy which was staged with the theater troupe of Korça, while until September 9, troupes will take the stage every night other all-Albanian comedy.
