The floods that hit the city of Vlora, in addition to material damage, have also brought other disturbing consequences for the citizens. One of the main concerns now is the increase in the number of mosquitoes.
Residents of Vlora demand urgent measures to disinfect the city, as the foci of infections can spread and endanger their health from infectious diseases.
“Many problems, there are many mosquitoes, they have never thrown medicine here”, said a citizen.
While cases of mosquito bite infections have not been registered in the regional hospital of Vlora, health centers are reporting dozens of cases, mostly children seeking treatment.
This situation requires a quick and efficient response to protect the health of citizens and prevent the spread of diseases.
