Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted on the social network X regarding judges’ request for salary increases.
The Constitutional Court has postponed its decision on raising judges’ salaries, arguing that it needs more time.
Prime Minister Rama wrote that courts have ruled in favor of up to 92 individuals dismissed through the vetting process, granting them financial compensation amounting to 12 million euros from the state budget.
“Did you know that the courts have so far ruled in 92 cases in favor of the ‘scum’ removed by vetting, granting them financial treatment of around 12 million euros from the state budget – in other words, treating them not as guilty parties, but as victims who must be compensated?!
Even worse, these court decisions were issued with enforcement orders before becoming final (at the Administrative Court of Appeal), forcing the Social Insurance Institute to make payments from the pension fund due to the enforceable decision!
Meanwhile, the line to receive money from taxpayers continues beyond this number, 92 – which means that those 12 million euros could increase significantly… This is called irresponsible independence!” Rama wrote.
