The Central Election Commission of Kosovo and the Central Election Commission of Albania signed an agreement today to raise electoral standards in both countries, in order to increase the efficiency of institutional work and modernize the organization, management and administration of elections.

The signing ceremony took place in Pristina and the chairman of the CEC, Kreshnik Radoniqi, and the state commissioner of Elections, Ilirjan Celibashi, signed on behalf of the two institutions.

Both institutions agree to support each other with election logistics, organization of joint workshops, exchange of information on practices and innovative technologies in order to administer election processes as efficiently as possible.

The CEC of Kosovo and that of Albania will continue to support each other for participation in international organizations with electoral expertise, as well as in the activities organized by them, the announcement states.
