With the request of Special Anti-Corruption Structure, Court of Corruption and Organized Crime has imposed the security measure of “prison arrest” for 13 people, police officers and elders, who have been under investigation for cultivation of narcotic plants since 2020.

From the conducted investigations, it results that the persons under investigation, part of two criminal groups, are involved in the criminal activity of cultivating narcotic substances with the aim of then putting them on the market, starting from 2020 onwards. Cultivation of narcotic plants is carried out in the Cudhi Administrative Unit of the Krujë Municipality, the villages of Noj, Shkrëtë, Rranxë, Bruz Mal, Bruz Zall, on the surface of forest land mainly owned by the “state”, bordering areas with each other.

So far, 8 security measures have been implemented.
