The epidemiological situation in Kosovo continues to deteriorate as the country with a population of 18.8 million logged 26 victims from COVID-19.

Single-day cases also remain high with 1,383 citizens testing positive to the virus on Tuesday.

In total, more than 115,650 people have recovered since the beginning of the pandemic. Currently, authorities estimate nearly 26,900 active cases across the country.

So far, 825,745 vaccine doses have been injected, of which 276,890 have received both necessary jabs.

The virus has claimed the lives of 2,503 citizens.
