Albania recorded 3 deaths and 118 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday.

The epidemiological situation has been more stable in April, in terms of daily infections.

So far, over 130,900 have tested positive for the virus with recoveries estimated at around 108,606.

From the beginning of the pandemic, 2.389 citizens have succumbed to COVID-19.

Active cases have also dropped in the past weeks, currently standing at nearly 19,980, of which more than 16.000 are reportedly in Tirana.

Currently, there are 129 patients receiving medical care in specialized COVID hospitals, of which 11 in the ICU.
