Recent COVID-19 figures in the past week seem to signal that the epidemiological situation in Albania is heading towards improvement with 349 positive cases confirmed in the last day.
So far, the virus has claimed the lives of 2.241 Albanians, six only from the day before.
From the beginning of the pandemic, over 91.870 citizens have recovered from the virus of which 604 from yesterday.
Currently, there are 279 being treated in hospitals, of which 9 in intensive wards.
The district with the highest infections and mortality rate remains Tirana, which is still struggling with nearly 22.000 active cases.
