During the last 24 hours, our country has registered 141 new cases of COVID-19 infections out of 2334 tests.

The Ministry of Health has announced the unfortunate death of 9 patients, who had contracted the virus.

“The confirmed positive cases were identified in the following municipalities:

34 cases in Tirana, 16 cases in Shkoder, 9 Gjirokaster, 6 Durres, Vlora, 5 Fier, Devoll, 4 in Elbasan, Lushnje, Skrapar, 3 in Kavaja, Saranda, Ura Vajgurore, Vau i Dejes, Diber, Malesi e Madhe, 2 in Kruja, Has, Mirdita, Tropoja, Permet, Divjaka, Selenica, Dropull, 1 in Kurbin, Korça, Kukes, Lezha, Rrogozhina, Librazhd, Tepelena, Belsh, Gramsh, Kuçova, Finiq, Patos, Cerrik and Kelcyra.

In the lats 24 hours, 604 citizens have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries since the onset of the pandemic to 95.035.

The COVID-19 designated hospitals in Tirana as well as three regional hospitals are currently providing treatment to 256 patients, 19 of whom in the Intensive Care Unit and 6 intubated,” confirmed the Ministry of Health.
