While he was in Tirana for the promotion of his book “Criticism of Global Ethics”, the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazovic, gave an interview to Euronews Albania, where he also spoke about the political situation in Podgorica.
In his speech, Abazovic said that the situation is currently in a state of confusion, but that it is expected to be resolved very soon.
He also highlighted some of the achievements of his government, where he said that during the last 8 months, the average salary has increased to 750 euros, marking a record in the region.
“The political situation in Montenegro is undergoing slight confusion, but I believe it will be resolved soon. As for the government, it works without any restrictions and I am very happy about our achievements in the last 8 months since I’ve been in the cabinet. Some interesting data for the Albanian public opinion that I can share with you is that Montenegro has reached an average salary of 750 euros, which is an absolute record in the region and the highest it’s ever been. In addition, our approach to unemployment has also been a success, as it has now decreased to a historical level of 13%. These are achievements that create a general belief that the government has taken very good measures and I sincerely hope that this year will be even more successful than 2022,” said Abazovic.
