Two Iranian citizens have been criminally prosecuted after attempting to cross the border with forged documents.

The police have informed that at the Vlora Port border point, following the detailed checks of the documentation presented by the citizens who enter and leave the border crossing point, they have identified two cases of attempts to cross the border illegally, with fake documents.

“At the end of the investigative actions, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office and the criminal proceedings were started for the Iranian citizens M.M., 52 years old and M.G., 57 years old” – announced the police.

During the detailed check of the documents, it turned out that the documents that the two citizens had presented were forged.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
