23 players have been called up by coach Jaroslav Silhavy, on the eve of the match between the Czech Republic and Albania, which will be played on September 7 in Prague. The leaders of group E appreciate the red and black national team, while they hope for a positive result.
It was coach Silhavy who in a statement affirmed that Albania is a team with a level.
“One of the key matches for the qualification awaits us. We all understand what we are playing for. Albania has a very good team, as evidenced by the fact that they are right behind us after the spring games. I believe that even with the support of the fans, we will manage the match and take a big step towards European qualification, which we do not want to lose under any circumstances,” said Jaroslav Šilhavý.
As for the list of players called up for this match, the return of captain Soucek, or the Brabec-Zima duo, stands out. Absences also remain a problem for the Czechs, among them Leverkusen striker Partik Schick. On the other hand, coach Sylvinho has not yet made public the list of players assembled for this delicate challenge.
