“Serbia will not allow Kosovo to become a member of the United Nations”. This was reiterated by the Serbian Foreign Minister, Ivica Dačić, while thanking “all the countries that do not recognize Kosovo’s independence”.

During the 19th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, which is being held in Kampala, Dačić stressed that it is important that Serbia’s interests are present at the Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement in Uganda, because still a large number of countries members have not recognized Kosovo.

“These are mainly our friendly countries, there are more than 100 countries that are members, and for this reason it is very useful for us to be present and participate in their activities”, said Dačić.

Dačić also said that Serbia is a militarily neutral country, committed to its strategic commitment to full membership in the European Union, but emphasized that at the same time it is strengthening traditional friendships with African, Latin American, Asia-Pacific countries and within the Non-Aligned Movement.
