Journalist Zak Graner Puriks was this Tuesday in a direct link for “People” in Euronews Albania where he commented on the data published in the United Kingdom where it is said that Albanians take a higher decision regarding crimes.
They are listed at the top of the crime table, with Albanians being the most likely nationality to be arrested, followed by Afghans, Iraqis, Algerians and Somalis.
According to the Daily Express journalist, there is a small number of Albanians living in Britain who are involved in crimes, so the entire Albanian community should not be seen as dangerous.
“I think it is not fair. I have been to Albania several times and I cannot say that it is not a safe place for women. This does not represent Albanians. The problem is who has come from Albania to England, unfortunately it is a small number of the population that may be inclined to get involved in the criminal episodes that you mentioned.
Bar houses are a very widespread phenomenon among Albanians, so we also look at such figures. Some who entered in recent years may have been accused of harassment or other crimes, but I do not agree that Albanians should be described as criminals”, he said.
