Citizens took to the streets once again this Friday as the protest entered its 34th consecutive day. As on previous days, demonstrators began gathering at 7:00 p.m. before marching toward the Prime Minister’s Office.

Protesters were seen carrying banners and Albanian flags. Despite the high temperatures, they continued their demonstration, calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

“Rama, resign!” and “Resignation!” were among the slogans repeatedly chanted by the crowd.

Today’s protest also included the participation of children, many of whom carried various banners, as well as elderly citizens who braved the scorching heat to join the march. Waving flags and holding placards, they stood alongside other demonstrators in front of the Prime Minister’s Office.

The protesters are expected to remain outside the government building for up to two hours before continuing their march through the streets of Tirana.
