Analyst Ilir Demaliaj says that today’s protest, as well as that of February 11, showed that the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, does not have popular support.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Demaliaj said that Albanians are disgusted by the 30-year-old political class.

“Today’s protest itself, even Saturday’s protest, shows that Berisha has no support. Not because people support Edi Rama, but because people are disgusted by the entirety of this 30-year-old policy, which now does not need a great philosopher to understand, that they have only robbed, stolen and strengthened their own clans”, he emphasized.
