Democratic MP, Sorina Koti, says that Ervin Salianji is lobbying with other democratic MPs for the merger of the Parliamentary Group of this political force.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Koti said that Salianji is currently deputy chairman of the group and he is in a position where he can find a solution.

“Mr. Salianji is lobbying with other MPs to offer them a compromise for the merger of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party, to remove this impasse that has got us caught in for some time. Maybe it’s a solution because he has the position of deputy chairman of the group. We’ve seen how the Leadership of the Parliamentary Group, has no longer been functioning for almost a year. We were no longer being called by the head of the group to discuss our internal affairs. Mr. Salianji could be a possible solution. This only concerns the chairmanship of the Parliamentary Group for those MPs who are still under the DP logo”, she emphasized.
