The Democratic Party of Albania has appointed three new political leaders. The news was announced for Euronews Albania by journalist Ardit Hoxha.

Jozefina Topalli has been appointed as political leader for the diaspora. Tomorr Alizoti has been appointed political leader of Elbasan district, he will replace in this district Ervin Salianj, who is already in prison.

Meanwhile, Fisnik Qosja will be the political leader for the Kavaja and Rrogozhina branches.

The decision to appoint three new political leaders comes into force immediately, it bears the signature of the chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, who has been under house arrest since December 30, 2023.
