The majority of democratic voters don’t want to see Sali Berisha out of the parliamentary group. In addition, they also demand that DP supports him in his case against the United States.
Euronews Albania’s poll found that 71.2% of DP voters don’t support Berisha’s exclusion from the party’s parliamentary group – 12.8% support it, 12.4% are undecided and 3.6% abstained.
When asked if they agree with the following statement: “DP should support Sali Berisha” – 58% of DP voters said yes, 28.4% said no and 10 % were unsure “neither yes nor no”.
The responses amongst citizens that chose not to vote on April 25th differed considerably.
The majority (56.5%) were against DP supporting Berisha even though when asked whether or not Berisha should leave the parliamentary group, they were split –9.5% were in favor of it, 21.4% were unsure, 12.6 % were against it.

Euronews Albania’s poll included 1 000 interviews (49.5% men, 50.5% women ages over 18) that were conducted nationwide from August 10 – 28.
