Diaspora Vote Results: Socialist Party Leads, Followed by PD and “Shqipëria Bëhet”

The counting of diaspora votes is underway at the Olympic Park, where 45,470 envelopes have been counted so far, out of a total of 194,889 received from Albanians living abroad.

Currently, the Socialist Party (PS) leads with a significant 54.57% of the diaspora vote, totaling 24,629 votes. It is followed by the Democratic Party – Alliance for a Great Albania coalition (PD-ASHM), which has secured 28.44% of the vote, or 12,837 ballots from the diaspora.

The “Shqipëria Bëhet” (Albania Is Becoming) Initiative has received 8.44% of the vote, with 3,810 votes counted.

Meanwhile, the Opportunity Party has secured 3.26% of the vote (1,471 votes), and the Bashkë (Together) Movement has received 2.60% (1,174 votes).

Smaller parties such as the Social Democratic Party (0.98%), the Euro-Atlantic Coalition Party (0.67%), the Albanian National Alliance Party (0.58%), and the Right-Wing Coalition for Development (0.28%) have obtained a smaller share of votes but remain part of the ongoing counting process. The Atdheu (Homeland) Movement and the Democratic New Alliance Party have received 0.14% and 0.04% of the vote, respectively.
