The requests of foreign citizens to come to Albania have increased. Some are looking for jobs online and some are looking to relocate here. The economic factor is what returns Albania to the promised land.

“Albania is one of those countries where you can have a great time spending little, there is an increasing trend of citizens coming from America, because they can stay a year in Albania, without the need to move” , said Skerdi Sino, the association of digital nomads.

“Nomad visa that we created is being used a lot by citizens from Pakistan, India, African countries to come here and look for work, they use Albania as a springboard”.

There is still no exact number of citizens who have come to Albania as digital nomads, but what is thought is that their income is considerable. About 35% of them are estimated to be paid from 50 thousand to 100 thousand dollars per year.
