Dora Bakoyannis has been elected rapporteur for Kosovo’s membership in the Council of Europe by the Committee for Political Affairs and Democracy in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

Bakoyannis will make the comprehensive consultative report for the committee on politics and democracy, which goes to the plenary session of the KiE parliamentary assembly for approval.

Dora Bakoyannis was the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, as the first woman in the highest position in Greece and has a sensational political career, which makes her well acquainted with the circumstances in the Balkans.
