The contestation of the results of April 25’th, which has been considered by the opposition group as an ‘’electoral massacre”, is now not only being pursued in the Commission of Appeals and Sanctions (CAS).
Yesterday, DP and SMI submitted their case file to the Electoral College, complete with evidence and claims of alleged manipulation and deformation of the citizens’ free will during the voting and counting process of the April 25th elections.
Today, the DP will also be drawing a lot that will pave the way for the reopening of cases overturned by CAS.
In addition, the battle of the opposition parties continues at CAS as well, where today, the final decision on DP’s appeal of the final results in Durres and Shkodra is being anticipated.
CAS is also expected to make a decision based on SMI’s appeal, asking for a partial recount in the district of Durres.
