Analyst Fitim Zekthi says that Berisha has chosen an extreme way of doing politics, as he is completely isolated from the US and the rest of the world.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Zekthi said that Berisha’s pulpit is an illegitimate movement that will have its end very soon.

According to Zekthi, the DP is dead as a party, therefore the extreme division within the DP is not about the common candidates, but about the logo and headquarters, which according to him can provide Berisha with protection from isolation.

“This crisis shows that DP is dead and that the division there is extreme, this is indisputable. The division was not made for the candidates, but because Berisha wants to get DP with headquarters and logo for them to use as protection”, said Zekthi.
