The new Minister of Justice, Besfort Lamallari, held a meeting today with the head of the Special Structure Against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK), Altin Dumani.
In a social media post, Lamallari explained that he shared with Dumani the ministry’s priorities as part of the Government Program 2025–2029, fully aligned with Albania’s commitments in the framework of negotiations with the European Union.
“I welcomed today in a meeting the head of the Special Structure Against Corruption and Organized Crime, Mr. Altin Dumani. I shared with him the priorities of the Ministry of Justice as part of the Government Program 2025–2029, in full compliance with the obligations undertaken within the EU negotiation process. The rule of law is the foundation of a European Albania.
Consolidating the independence of the judiciary and continuing support for Justice Reform remain an absolute priority of the Albanian government!” Lamallari wrote in his post.
