Prime Minister Edi Rama stopped in London to ask for the vote of Albanians living in Great Britain. In his speech, he also promised a legal solution for the registration of the children of immigrants who entered the island with Kosovar identity 25 years ago.
Prime Minister Edi Rama chose London for the next tour with the Diaspora. In his speech, he promised a legal solution for the registration in Albania of immigrants who fled 25 years ago with a hidden identity as citizens of Kosovo.
“Some of you have had to hide your identity, some have to do jobs that they had never seen in their worst dreams, and others go through difficulties for the registration of their children in Albania. We will soon undertake a legal initiative for the trouble-free registration in Albania of all the children of parents who were registered as Kosovars here in England”.
Rama asked his compatriots in Great Britain to vote for the Socialist Party in the upcoming elections, as the best alternative that Albania has today.
“Next spring, I want the vote to make you proud and to make Albania even better together with you”
In addition to the supporters, in the hall where he gave his speech, Rama was confronted at the beginning of the meeting with several voices against him who shouted “Rama Go” and “Thief”, but the security personnel took them away.
