The summer day in Tirana, like every year, will have a big ‘bouquet’ of activities planned by the municipality.

Over 35 activities in less than 24 hours, involving every age group are getting ready for tomorrow.

Music, sports, food fair, circus, ‘ballokume’ and putting the bracelet that are symbolic to this day are some of what the citizens will enjoy during the day tomorrow, with separate schedules where podiums for music and facilities for children are supposed to be erected.

Craft markets and agricultural products of the area will be exhibited at the fair. Meanwhile, in addition to the police that will be on standby for the Summer Day, the nation’s martyrs boulevard and many other main arteries of the capital will be blocked and the traffic of vehicles will be prohibited as of midnight today.

Some of the biggest names in music will perform on the stage set up for the concerts.

Meanwhile, Elbasan also has a busy agenda with activities planned for tomorrow, where it will be the “party capital” for 24 hours.

The visit of the highest heads of state, like every year, the tradition of the ‘ballokume’ and the bracelet, the fireworks show that takes place tonight and the carnival parade, are some of the activities on the list devised by the municipality.

The evening will end with the big concert on Gensher Square.
