The parliamentary group of the Socialist Party convened today to discuss the agenda for the new week in the Parliament.

The head of this group, Bledi Çuçi, chaired the meeting, highlighting the orders from the party leader, Edi Rama, at the Assembly held the day before.

“We need increased physical presence in the field according to your areas. Consider this as a campaign period starting from yesterday. It is very important that we personally follow the electoral process within the party. There is a need for an accelerated pace to meet deadlines,” said Çuçi.

Regarding Thursday’s plenary session, Çuçi spoke about the draft laws on the agenda to be voted on. These include the Draft Law “On official holidays and memorial days” and the Draft Law “On the ratification of the agreement on the exchange program of university studies in Central Europe”.

As for the Penal Amnesty, the amendments proposed will be examined in committees this week so that the draft law can be voted on in the session of the next week.
